SECRET EXPOSED!!! THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO DO WHENEVER YOU ARE TEMPTED

As far as life is concerned, we must always come across temptations.

Today, I will like to reveal an important role we are expected to play whenever we are tempted. And this may lead to full repentance of the "tempter".

If someone overcomes a temptation, it literally means that he or she refused to compromise his or her faith in God, irrespective of how the temptation scene may be charming, attractive, humanly pleasant to the eyes and body, etc.

Overcoming temptation is not only limited to "refusal to compromise," but there is something that needs to be done in the process.

Below are three (3) vital things to be done when being tempted.

1. You must let the tempter know that what he or she is presenting to you is a gross violation of God's express will and command.

When you do this, it shows that God is paramount in your life.

Be reminded, however, that when Joseph was tempted by Portiphar's wife, before he ran out of the scene, he made her understand that it is a great wickedness before God when one sleeps with another man's wife.

Please, I didn't say you should wait and quote plenty of scripture. Something else might happen in the process. Be wise as the serpent when trying to imitate Joseph by obeying the first point above.

2. You must boldly rebuke the tempter.

Our Lord Jesus, during his temptation period, rebuked the devil by saying, "Get behind me, Satan!". In Matthew 16:23, He repeated the same statement to Peter.

3. After rebuking your tempers, try to advise or admonish them.

When you do this, sometimes your tempters are forced to repent. So, whenever you are faced with temptation, you, 'the temptee', should also do this before you flee like Joseph or before they, 'the tempters', leave you in shame like Satan left Jesus.

In Acts 8:9–24, after Peter rebuked Simon the sorcerer, he deployed another dimension by advising him in verse 22. Indeed, Simon the sorcerer showed fruits of repentance in verse 24. This is how important the aforementioned three (3) points are.

Beloved, whenever you are faced with temptation, don't just run away; don't just escape; don't just bail out. Try to use the above three points before leaving the temptation room.

God bless.
