SOME PEOPLE NEED TO REALLY GIVE UP IN ORDER TO SUCCEED

Abraham, in obedience to God's command, gave up on his country and headed to another country. Had he not given up on his country, he would not have become the father of all nations and a wealthy person as well.

Joseph, without his will, through an unfortunate incident, gave up on his environment, which was filled with hatred and cruelty. Had he not given up on his environment, perhaps he would not have become a prime minister in a strange land without even joining a political party or participating in campaigns and elections.

Samson, who paid deaf ears to his parents' advice, refused to give up on Delilah, his girlfriend. Had he given up on her, he would not have gone to the grave as a blind man. In fact, he would have lived for many more years on earth because there was no prophecy about him by the prophets that said he was going to die shamefully without eyes because of a woman. And moreover, he was the 14th judge who judged Israel for 20 years.

I know that this post may seem strange to you, but I want to tell you point-blank that for some people to succeed, they need to give up.

Some of them need to give up on a habit. Some of them need to give up on a friend. Some of them need to give up on their comfort zones. Some of them need to give up on their environment. Some of them need to give up on a geography.

Some of them need to give up on a neighborhood. Some of them need to give up on an ideology or a philosophy. Some of them need to give up on some businesses. Some of them need to give up on some ideas.

Some of them need to give up on relationships that drain them rather than adding value to their lives. Some of them need to give up on a circle of friends. Some of them need to give up on the devil and cling to God alone. Some people really need to give up to be able to stand up and stand tall and never fall.
