Obaseki Permits The Payment Of 28 Years' Worth Of Unpaid Gratuities.

 There will be a screening process for pensioners who are to be  paid by the Local Government Staff Pension Board between 1979 and 2008.

This information was released in a statement by Mrs. Osas-Ehigie Sandra, Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA) and Permanent Secretary of the Local Government Staff Pension Board.

According to her, a screening process would be conducted for retirees who are to be paid  by the Local Government Staff Pension Board between 1979 and 2008.

"This is to inform Local Government Staff Pension Board employees who retired between 1979 and 2008 that a screening exercise will be conducted at the Local Government Staff Pension Board Premises, King Square, Benin City, and that His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has kindly released funds for their gratuity.

All confirmed pensioners must physically appear at the location between Monday, October 16 and Friday, October 20, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, with their pension identity card, biometrics slip, and pay advice.
