IT DOESN'T TAKE GOD 24 HOURS TO CHANGE A MAN'S STORY; IT IS THE IMPATIENCE OF MAN THAT MAKES HIM CHANGE HIS MIND.

It didn't take God 24 hours to change the story of Joseph. He only allowed him to pass through rough and tough training for over twelve (12) years because He knew that these twelve (12) years of experience would be needed when He finally changed his story.

It didn't take God 24 hours to change the story of David. He only allowed him to pass through some training in the bush in order to become a great and tactical warrior because He knew that every king in Israel must be a great warrior.

It didn't take God 24 hours to change the story of Esther. He only allowed her to pass through some hard training as a slave, which would shape her into the best queen ever.

It didn't take God 24 hours to change the seeming sad story of Shedrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He only allowed them to be bundled into the fire in order to prove it to the "foolish" king Nebuchadnezzar, who claimed that there was no God (Psalms 14:1).

It didn't take God 24 hours to change the story of Job by restoring all that he had lost. He only allowed him to be tried by the devil in order to prove to him (the devil) that he (Job) was not only upright or blameless but was also a "patient" man.

What I always notice whenever I study the Bible is that God only changed the story of those who were 'patient' with Him, regardless of the challenges and difficulties they faced.

Dear reader, I know you are a true Christian and you are faced with problems, but how patient are you with God?

I know you are a true child of God, but why do you always doubt Him?

I know you are a true follower of Christ, but why do you give in to any temptation that comes your way?

If you want God to also change your story, you also have to be patient as a true Christian.

And remember that there is a big difference between "being patient" and "being idle." So, be patient, but not idle.

God bless you.
